Asterisk Outlook dialer uses the Asterisk Manager to log on and execute commands on the Asterisk box. The Outlook Dialer calls a php script with the parameters such as the extension to be dialed, the number to be dialed, the callerID etc. It comes with a small installer (400K) which installs the outlook component. The php script needs to be dumped into your www folder.

 works very nice ! Up and running in 30 min. ! Very nice feature !wishlist, something like this : point with mouse to "a number" in the e-mail and then with right-click an option to dial that number.But anyway I am very happy with it !!Anton

Not working on YahooMail!
I tried to recover one of my asterixes password but the result was PH****************So it did not work.It was a password from Second Life inlog which i lost.
 Opinion Program seems to work just fine, but note it is a limited-function trial version, the complete password is NOT shown.
It did not work on Firefox and Windows 7.
 Services password. I was trying to unhide the passowrd of one of the services - sqlagent.
But with no success.
 Use it It is too good to use it to recover passwords easily.

well i would like to write a review on this product that I downloaded as a trial but since I had no idea how to use it once I had downloaded it and there was no help or form of instructions on the site or in the software - I dont have much to say except since I couldnt use it, i was dissapointed in that!
 Doesn't work with Vista at all
Great and useful product.
 i couldn't get it to work with ie8 on my ebay login page!
I couldn't make it work so I deleted and dowloaded a program that did work.

Does not work with VNC I have used Asterix Logger some time ago to reveal lost OE password. Now I needed to refresh my memory again - this time it was VNC password. The program claims to reveal tris password as well, but unfortunety it shows only "~~~~~~~~" instead of password, so it does NOT reaveal the VNC password. So, for VNC password, Asteriks logger is not the choice :-(

Its very useful. As we have a system to change the password every fortnight hence sometimes we forget which password we have typed. Thanks to Asterisk, by which we can see what password we had typed.
